The road lasted only three hours before you see this beautiful city!
It consists of wide avenues you remembering you're in a big city, but also smaller perpendicular streets with a certain style, full of trees stairs and we'd like to see more often!
I literally fell in love with this city! If I had to choose and live in a Canadian city would be without hesitation Montreal. Besides, you know
from which the name of Montreal?
The name of this town was first Ville Marie, when it was created by colonists from France. Jacques Cartier named "Mount Royal" mountain located in the city. Then at about the same time some cartographers used the name of Montreal to designate the city. For more

Montreal has its own flag that is seen floating in the air everywhere. That it symbolizes the different first nations important in the history of Montreal. We can see the lily to France, rose to England, the thistle for Scotland and clover for Ireland.

We deposit the luggage in our hotel: The Grand Plaza on Sherbrooke St. . Is, and leave to attack the city, history of finding something to eat. All thoughts are for a good ham sandwich butter as is typically found in France, with good bread, and as it is very hard to find in Ontario.
Finally, the sandwich that we had found was not perfect but the sensation of hunger was unbearable at that time. We continue our stroll through the streets, St. Catherine particularly where one side (is) there is an exhibition of artists: FIMA = F Summer International Montréal en Arts http://www.festivaldesarts . org / and on the other side (west) The IFJ = Festival International de Jazz de Montréal http://www.montrealjazzfest.com/default-fr.aspx
It is very common in Montreal to see street names on behalf of Saints , moreover for some I'd never heard the name! St Sulpice and St Polycarp example.
Moreover, the indication is and West Street is useful when you find your direction because the same numbers are given in a street, but is west and more! Easily confused ...
So this festival FIMA great, full of beautiful things, discussions and more French, because in Montreal apparently most used language is French, so that re-switcher in French is not easy ! On the occasion I could give you some addresses of sites for artists ...
In fact I can even do it now, I'm not going to marinate longer ... but finally ... Have you been nice?
my favorite is to come, still under construction but you will find it worthwhile to wait ...

After walking the streets is rich in decoration, we begin this time the west side . With the Jazz Festival, where some Concerts are in charge of the rooms, but many of them are free. And the crowd, awesome! Again the scenery here, magggggnifiques !
St. Catherine Street West is full of shops, cafes, is also the site of many museums ... Really is a beautiful street!
That day might as well say that the blue card (in addition so, my bank card Canadian is all beautiful, all blue) have soared. It's crazy that the jeans' are cheaper in Canada! So I'm re equipped for 2 years! lol I even found a girl dress for the wedding of my sister! it is not all that beautiful?
And we were able to attend a special troupe came from Guadeloupe for the festival, it is Isabelle who was spotted by far thanks to Madras fabrics they wore! Ah, the homecoming for Isa after a year and a half ... that u happiness! A smile to behind your head!

The afternoon was punctuated by a double espresso and a cinnamon bun,
Finally, we return to the hotel to get our story rooms were not ready when we arrived around 13h. We learn about the price that is different from the expected price, we start to change out a few moments in the city.
15 minutes and I'm ready, but not Isabelle and Sarah ... We finally leave around 1am, Isabelle targeted a bar where they would go. GPS way, I take everybody off! Arrived front of the bar, this one is closed and everyone decides to retrace our steps to the hotel to sleep! Except me, who go wandering (from my eyes I even told zombiliser !) From 1:30 to 4 am in the streets of Montreal, camera in hand! I met several people, including a Polish man who was walking in the aisles Jazz Festival and starts talking to me about things and others, also Sarko ...
lol I go back on the east side of St Catherine, I get below a bridge, the Pont Jacques Cartier. I met a couple at that time and asked where he must go to discover the underground city of Montreal. Very nice , they tell me the metro station to take, then follow the directions ( RESO) to see the most beautiful places. It's all for tomorrow's agenda! They interest to be happy the Pomeranians ...

10am following morning we release the bedrooms, a shower after bleaching (because my feet had a appearance tipex underneath the tub was rubbed off ...), Let's settle the bills salted, have arguments with the reception that seems deaf when it comes to money, and start asking for explanations with the help of the tourist office in Montreal, because if we're not here to sleep Friday night, we had to pay full price of the room, but increasingly they have leased back ... Legal??
Quick, we must find something to forget this anecdotal bill ... Nothing like a good French breakfast at "La Mie Morning" Street Saint Catherine is .

Small bakery / bar nice, with Dalida loop attention and even photos with the server but not just any celebrity! With our national Patricia , among many others! If it's no coincidence that! Yummmmi ! It is not life grand?
Sunday has been a kind of remake Saturday, lost between the side and is west of the avenue: art, music, shopping ... And really lost was the adjective, as in force at every stop stands, I end up losing the Pomeranians, fortunately Sarah Isabelle had a laptop and my number!
visit some of the underground city Montreal, which ultimately is not that hard to find when you know ! I like a lot, but imagine these places with a lot of people it's a little scary though ... feel cramped maybe ...
Soon the hour of departure, we return the car to go to Old Montreal, see Notre Dame Basilica, the old port ... Bouhouhou , sea breeze blowing through our hair as a murmur wishing us good road ... or is this one: "Why do not you would stay longer?"
Montreal is especially, especially not to miss if you are going to Canada!
The atmosphere of this city is really great! Certainly, the most beautiful I had the opportunity to visit yet ...
